Halloween Trip

Rebecca hates Halloween. There is too much baggage with the date to give her any fond memories of it until her daughter passes her a flyer for what she assumes to be a college frat party that night.

Caleb needed a night off. He is constantly on the lookout for potential threats to his family and is exhausted. He stumbles into a costume party before realizing what night it is and has some fun.

Rebecca should have known that there were be drinking and other things going on at the party, but when she started seeing fangs and claws reaching toward her, she panicked. It was all Caleb could do to keep the frightened woman steady, but what was this thudding in his chest? Why did he feel an instinctive need to protect her?
